PalmPac - Matting - Introduction

Palmpac Biodegradable Matting is an eco-friendly product, which supplies nutrients to the plant & the soil. It has been developed and refined for optimal porosity which allows water uptake and moisture retention, yet provides necessary drainage and release of nutrients. These properties allow the roots to remain at a cooler temperature, a huge advantage in hot, dry climates.

Light & flexible, Palmpac Biodegradable Matting is easy to transport and apply. Also once wet, it will conform to hilly or uneven terrain. This has the added advantage of minimizing fertilizer loss due to ‘run-off’.

The strong bonding between the matting & soil surface helps reduce weed growth, minimising the need for herbicides or labourious weeding. This bond also means that in most cases the matting does not require to be secured down.

Durable, with approximately a 2 year life span, the matting is not easily dislodged by weather conditions and has vast applications in mining, vineyards, Shires & Council works, coastal plantings, & housing projects.
